  • In Geraldvaf, we have two different types of nails to recommend for artificial grass installations: Regular brite common steel 60D nails and galvanized nails. Both products have their own pros and cons and widely used by installers. There is really no clear winner from one to the other and that is why we recommend both:

    • Regular steel 60D nails cost a bit cheaper, and will get rusted given time. However many installers won’t consider rusting nails as an issue, as such rusting process will help the nails holding the turf more securely and firmly onto the sub base.
    • Galvanized turf nails cost a bit more, they are a little thinner than the regular 60D nails, and won’t rust which on the other side of the argument is a good feature. Since it is thinner and sharper, installers find it very easy to drive it into the turf and sub base so to make the installation go faster and smoother.
Therefore, you can go with either type of nails for your turf installation, please feel free to email us at support@megagrass.com if you have any other questions, thank you.
