Does a higher face weight equate to higher quality turf?

In general, the higher the face weight of artificial grass, the more expensive of the product as more materials to be used for higher face weight turf products and higher face weight also make the artificial grass thicker and more fluffy that tends to make turf stand up better, withstand the wear and tear better in turn to prolong the lifespan of the artificial grass. However, there are other factors that can affect turf’s lifespans such as UV stabilizers, yarn engineering and etc., even though the face weight is one of the key factors that determines the artificial grass quality.
