Which artificial grass should I choose for a kids playground?

I am looking for something soft to cushion falls.

You definitely should go with our MegaPlay product! It is very soft and plush, will be great for your kids to play on. If you will need more cushioning to achieve certain fall ratings, I will suggest you to use our shock pads or lawn pads which you can find under our installation materials section: https://megagrass.com/pages/installation-materials. You can also add more infills to provide even further cushions (minimum 2 lbs per square foot).
One point I would like to make here: soft fiber artificial grass products tend to lay down easier than stiffer fibers, but such flattened grass won’t hurt the integrity of the products, you might need to keep an eye on the turf and brush/broom it up when you start to see the laying down happen only if this bothers you. For a lot of installations, people are careless about that instead of keep trying to bring the fibers up.
