I keep hearing that artificial grass is safer for kids compared to natural grass. How does that work? Thanks
Hi Fron!
Great question. Artificial grass is definitely safer than natural grass for two main reasons.
Artificial grass dries quicker than natural grass. Natural grass remains wet even days after rainfall, making the surface incredibly slippery. But with artificial grass, the water dries out quickly, making it less slippery. As soon as the sunshine hits the turf, your kids are all set to have fun again.
Artificial grass will drain water faster. In natural grass lawns, puddles can be found all over the uneven wet surface. Not only can that create a hazard for your kids, but it can also turn into breeding grounds for insects. Synthetic turf has unique backing built-in, to enhance the permeability of your lawn.
The installation of all of our megagrass synthetic turf products avoids all these problems. The backing of all our fake grass drains water quickly, and our faux grass blades dry fast.
Thanks for your question! Have a great day!
