You have a great point! When hosing down the artificial grass, it is possible that strong water stream will displace the infills in some degree. Most of the time, people will just spray down the fibers instead of jetting the water all the way to the bottom of the turf where infills sit. By knowing that infills being at the bottom of the turf, taking a bit precaution while spraying down will minimize the possibility of moving the infills, or some people will spray the turf from different directions so the water won’t wash the infills away.
