Are there any downsides to having artificial grass?

There are really not much of downsides of artificial grass to talk about. However, like any products, no such a thing as “perfect”. One of the biggest downsides of artificial grass is its cost, given how it is made, the pricing of artificial grass compared with natural grass is still high, I mean that upfront cost. This is very similar to solar panels which cost a lot, even though in the long run it will save tremendous amount of money for homeowners. The high upfront cost is a barrier for the industry to overcome and directly hurt the affordability. Another issue of artificial grass is that it can get hot during warm or hot days, we do have a recommendation of adding TCool infills onto the turf surface to help keeping the temperature down which is very effective. Other than that, artificial grass would have been perfect!
