I want my putting greens to stay smooth, are there things I should avoid doing to maintain it?
Unlike real putting greens, your artificial putting green requires almost none maintenance! At the initial installation, you need to make sure to have enough sand infills on the artificial putting green: such infills not only will hold the turf in place better to minimize the expansions and contractions but also help the speed of your golf balls. Once enough infills given on the putting green, the “smoothness” of your golf surface will last a long time if not lifetime. If your putting green has a slope and will lose infills from time to time, all you need to do is to add more infills to the green surface using a push broom.
