Weed can be stubborn and annoying that can find anywhere to grow. From time to time, you can see them growing under or around the edges of artificial grass. Two things you can do to prevent and remove any weed issues:
- To prevent the weeds from growing, at your artificial grass installation stage, you can put a layer of weed barrier before laying your artificial turf, this will literally eliminate the possibilities of weed growing under the grass or through the drainage holes on the artificial grass.
- If your turf has already been installed and you are having weed problems, you can always use the weed killers to get rid of them. To choose the non-toxic weed killers, if you are using Roundup, you will need to be careful by wearing masks and gloves to protect yourself well, even though Roundup itself won’t damage to your artificial grass.
