Are nails the only accessory I need to hold down the turf edges?

Pretty much so if you are installing the artificial grass to replace your real grass lawn: you will need to prepare the sub base, and nails to secure the edges of your turf. However, if you are installing your artificial turf over solid surfaces such as concrete, you will need turf glues along the edges.
