What tool do I need to cut my own turf?

I have measured out my yard but how do I cut my own turf?

In general, to cut artificial grass, all you will need is either a sharp carpet knife or a utility knife, please make sure to only use new blades which will make the cut easier and more accurate. For any fine cutting, a pair of sharp industrial grade scissors will be ideal to use. If you ever need to trim off the artificial grass fibers, you will find the carpet scissors which has the flat head works out very well.
