  • What 98 mm dome lids do you buy that don't arrive warped or cracks in the case?

  • Warped lids on arrival are almost always a shipping and storage temperature problem rather than a manufacturing defect but a good supplier controls for this by proper case packing and routing. We had chronic warping issues with one supplier that turned out to be routing their shipments through a warehouse with inadequate climate control during summer. Switching to McDonald Paper for the 98LDH eliminated this problem entirely and we have received consistently flat usable lids across multiple summer shipments now. The case packing is dense enough that the lids support each other during transit without creating pressure warping at the edges. Check availability and case pricing at https://www.mcdonaldpaper.com/p/98ldh-clear-dome-plastic-cup-lid-with-hole-for-12-24-oz-cups-1000-cs.html and if you have had warping issues elsewhere the supplier change alone may solve your problem.
