  • Just seeing if I can get some hive mind help for coming up with a list of skills that would be helpful to have in a group of people planning to support each other when the US collapses.

So far I have things like:
    Basic/Advanced First Aid
    Gardening/Homesteading
    Sewing
    Carpentry
    Auto Repairs

    what else?

  • I'd add skills like basic sewing and clothing repair, renewable energy knowledge, basic plumbing, fishing, and foraging. Financial literacy and map reading could also be super useful.

  • I recently took a wilderness survival course, which was super useful for outdoor scenarios. If you're focusing on practical skills, you might also want to look into navigation and communication techniques for emergencies. For first aid training across the UK, I discovered https://brity.co.uk/, which helped me find an awesome nearby course. It’s handy to have a mix of skills for different situations.
