I am looking to but our vehicles for resale into BC and all costs be tracked to an item using its Stock #.
I would enter all the costs by entering the invoices, but how do I get these costs to be linked to the item?
Do I need to think about it as manufacturing where the purchase is the raw material, the reconditioning and adding accessories as processing?
Or is there a simpler way?
The end result would be to look up an item and see its full cost.
To add other fees to a vehicle purchase when on the same invoice from the vendor I used an Item line for the purchase and Item Charges for the additional fees.
