How do I save Outlook MSG emails as EML files so they can open properly in Thunderbird?

I have important Outlook MSG emails that I need to read inside Thunderbird, but Thunderbird cannot open MSG files directly. I want to save them as EML in a proper way so the message body, sender details, date, subject line, and attachments appear normally after import without broken formatting issues.
