Woke up to find a few dark drops under my 2013 Honda Accord again, maybe the size of a small plate total after sitting overnight. It's definitely oil, not transmission fluid or coolant, and I've been keeping an eye on the dipstick and it's not dropping fast maybe a quarter liter every couple of weeks. The thing is I can't tell where it's coming from because everything underneath looks wet and grimy. I tried using some stop leak additive but that didn't do anything except make me feel like I wasted money. A coworker said I should take it to proper https://jeepservicemussafah.ae/leak-repair/ who can put dye in the oil and use a UV light to trace the source instead of guessing and replacing random gaskets. I'm just torn because the car runs perfectly otherwise and has 190k on it so maybe I should just live with it? But then I think about the smell when it burns off the exhaust and ugh. Anyone been through this and found an easy fix like a valve cover gasket versus something major like rear main seal? Really hoping it's the cheap one.
