  • Hey, guys. I'm looking to get an industrial piercing - a long barbell connecting two piercings in the upper ear. I've heard that this piercing is considered one of the most difficult to heal because the barbell puts a lot of tension on the cartilage. For those of you with industrial piercings, could you share your experience? How long did the swelling take to go down, and how often do the piercings get caught on hair or clothing? Is it possible to heal without any issues?

  • The industrial piercing is truly the most difficult piercing I've ever had. Because of the solid barbell, any touch on one side immediately radiates to the other. Hair constantly caught it, and the swelling lasted for three weeks. But it looks casual and cool, so it was worth the effort.

  • Maybe you should contact a specialist directly who will advise you?

  • A complex double cartilage piercing requires impeccable skill and experience. I recommend checking out the studio's website at https://thefalltattooing.com/pages/industrial-piercing , which describes all the nuances of industrial piercing. This salon employs certified specialists who carefully select the initial barbell based on the individual ear shape. The quality of service is top-notch, and the work areas are sanitized according to strict medical standards.
