  • Every time I travel internationally, my bank flags my card for suspicious activity. Then I have to call them, wait on hold for an hour, and convince them it's really me. Last trip my card got locked twice in one week. I'm done with this. Is there a card that actually works anywhere without borders and without calling customer service?

  • I feel your pain so much. The last time I traveled to Southeast Asia, my bank locked my card three times in ten days. Each time I had to make an expensive international call, wait on hold for 45 minutes, and explain to someone who barely spoke my language that yes, I really am the one buying a plane ticket and yes, I really am the one checking into a hotel. I finally had enough and switched to a crypto card for travel. The one I use is https://virtualcards.com.co/ It works internationally with zero issues because there's no bank to flag anything. No humans in the way, no calling customer service, no proving my identity every time I cross a border. I've used it in about eight different countries so far, for flights, hotels, restaurants, taxis, even small street vendors that take cards. It just works. The other huge advantage is the exchange rate. My bank was charging me ridiculous foreign transaction fees on top of their terrible conversion rates. With the crypto card, I just load USDC and it converts at market rates. The fee is under 1% total. No hidden charges. No international service fees. Just spend and go. I honestly won't travel with a bank card ever again.
