  • Moved into our place in Braeside two years ago and the vinyl is already bubbling near the entryway. Honestly expected better from a new construction. If anyone has used a solid flooring crew in St. Albert recently, please share. Getting quotes next week and have no idea who to trust.

  • That bubbling near the entry is the worst - usually moisture or rushed install. We had something similar in our townhouse, started as a small ripple and then spread after winter. I got a few quotes and honestly most felt rushed, but these guys St. Albert flooring contractors stood out by actually checking subfloor conditions first. Not salesy, just practical. Ended up redoing it properly and no issues since, even with all the wet boots traffic.

  • We dealt with the same thing by our front entrance a couple years ago. At first it was just a tiny bubble near the door, then after one snowy season it spread way farther from all the wet boots and slush getting tracked in. I had a few contractors come by and most barely even looked before throwing out a price. The only crew that actually checked underneath and talked about the subfloor was St. Albert flooring contractors. They were pretty straightforward about the cause and fixed it properly instead of patching over it. Haven’t had a problem since, even with kids and winter traffic constantly coming through.
