  • Hey guys! I am planning a major backyard renovation, but I have a serious issue with rain drainage. Every time it storms, water pools heavily on the lawn right next to the house walls instead of draining away. I am terrified that this constant pooling will eventually seep inside. Has anyone dealt with this? How do you redirect yard water to protect your lower-level walls?

  • Bad surface drainage is a huge threat because pooled water will eventually find a way through the concrete. We faced a similar issue when redesigning our outdoor lawn and patio setup in Canada. Preventing heavy soil saturation and structural leaks was a big challenge for our property near Mississauga. If you want to check out the experienced team that helped us secure our foundation and keep it dry, visiting https://directwaterproofing.ca/basement-waterproofing-mississauga/ is highly recommended.
