2023-26 z06 tune

Is there any news on a tune for the z06? If not, when they finally do crack the ecu do you think the z06 will rev out at 9k? If so that’ll be nuts!

I haven't seen anything come out to tune the OE ECU. At some point it will likely get cracked and if there is power to be had (and engine doesn't mind it), revving to 9k is a few clicks away.

I messed around with some tuning modules on my other cars, and using chip tuning for turbocharged engines https://www.gantuning.com/gt/ gave me a good sense of how much headroom modern ECUs usually have. The Z06’s FPC V8 is a different animal, but if GM’s lock ever gets cracked, I could see the rev ceiling nudged a bit. I’d still be careful pushing anything close to 9000 since valve control becomes the real bottleneck.
