  • Summer is coming up and I’m trying to find a really good tanning lotion or tanning cream that helps get a nice dark tan without drying out the skin too much.

I’ve tried a few random products before, but some of them either felt greasy, smelled weird, or just didn’t seem to work very well. I’m looking for something with good ingredients that actually gives noticeable results and maybe even helps moisturize the skin at the same time.

Does anyone have recommendations for good tanning creams or websites where you buy your tanning products from?

  • Saw this old thread and couldn’t resist adding that I’ve had good luck with lotions that use aloe, cocoa butter, and a bit of coconut oil since they sink in fast without that greasy feel. I’ve bought mine from Ulta and iHerb because the reviews there are pretty reliable. If anyone’s tried newer formulas this season, I’m curious which ones actually give a deeper color without the heavy scent.

  • I’ve had decent luck with lightweight sprays instead of thick creams. The one that surprised me most was linked through https://sodamntanned.com/shop/tanning/best-tanning-spray/, since their outdoor-friendly formulas didn’t leave that sticky film and gave me a deeper colour faster
I just used a simple moisturizer afterward and my skin stayed soft without any weird scent
