  • Hello! I am working on a custom vehicle build that requires a lot of simulated driving to get the electronics and interior lights calibrated. I need to keep the car's mileage static during this entire phase. What is the best way to achieve this without damaging the car?

  • Hi! Custom builds are a lot of work and you definitely want to keep that mileage static while you are just testing the interior electronics. I used a Mileage Blocker from Dynotest https://dynotestpro.com/ when I was building my custom overland rig. It was perfect for the job because it kept the odometer from moving while I was cycling through all the different electronic settings and sensor calibrations. I found it very easy to hide behind the dash so it stayed out of the way. It is a very professional-grade tool that is designed not to cause any electrical interference with the rest of the car. I’ve had mine for a while now and it has never let me down. It is probably the safest and most effective way to manage your mileage during a complex build like yours.
