We recently moved into a house that is an oversized bungalow on the top of the hill and west facing yard, so it's a good sized roof with full sun exposure. It seems like an ideal setup for solar, but it's something I know nothing about.
Is this something worth getting? especially since it looks like there are quite a few govn't incentives for it. Anyone here with experience or thoughts on this?
I put panels on a west-facing roof too, and the payoff was better than I expected once the rebates kicked in. If you size the system right and keep your usage steady, the numbers usually land in a pretty sweet spot.
