Carpet plants possible with Aquaeon Optibright

I have a tank I’m setting up with Ada Amazonia. I would love a carpet but I only have an aqueon optibrihht plus and no c02. Can I even bother? And is there an easy way to dump seeds or something?

Most carpeting plants need bright light, CO2, or both. Both of these things contribute to dense and stocky plant growth. Without one or both, they'll either fail to survive at all, or they will grow tall, leggy, and sparse.

I had a similar setup and found that picking hardy species from the low tech aquatic plants really helped things settle down fast. I liked how everything arrived clean and clearly labeled, so I didn’t have to guess what went where. Their careful packing and guarantee took the stress out of adding new plants, especially the rarer ones that are usually tricky to source in good shape.
