  • I recently upgraded my system and installed the latest version of Microsoft Outlook. I still have my old Outlook data file that contains all my important contacts from an older Outlook version. However, when I try to open or import the file, my contacts either do not appear correctly or Outlook does not recognize the file format at all. I searched online and found that many people recommend using a converter tool, but I am confused about why it is necessary. Is there any way in Outlook to access old Outlook contacts directly, or is a converter tool the only reliable option?

  • It is difficult to access old Outlook contacts because they are saved in PST files. A PST file can be opened only in Microsoft Outlook. If Outlook is not installed or has been removed, the contacts cannot be opened.  Free online tools or other Outlook installations often do not work properly. That is why it is not possible to access old Outlook contacts without using a converter tool.

Exporting your contacts with both options typically will not allow for the safe and secure exporting of your contacts.

An offline tool called OSTtoPSTAPP PST to vCard Converter reads PST files immediately and transforms contacts into the widely used vCard format. Large files can be handled simply, all contact fields are preserved, and transfer to email apps or phones is seamless.

    Key Advantages:

    Works without Outlook installation
    Preserves all contact details
Compatible with iPhone, Android, Gmail, and more
    Prevents data loss and errors
Convert a PST file to a vCard file in less time without any problems.
