What’s the difference between rpa developments and ai/ml developments?

  • For me, both of them, judging by the descriptions I see on developer sites, are made to automate different workflows. But the services are different, the development time is different, and obviously, the cost is different too. Basically, I don’t really get it yet.

  • Essentially, the main goal of both technologies is to automate manual labor. But ai and machine learning are better for stuff where data analysis and insights matter, like predicting equipment failures, text analysis, recommendations, clustering, forecasting, and so on. If we’re talking about services like spd.tech/rpa-development-services/, that’s more for automating routine tasks. No extra system training is needed. There’s a clear algorithm, like how to fill certain forms, and the robot fills them consistently and endlessly.
