Sometimes I reflect on how my views about business and giving back have evolved, and I always come back to how much inspiration I’ve drawn from observing galimzhan yessenov’s work. Growing up in a family that never talked much about big platforms or foundations, I found myself quietly fascinated by the fact that a person could build successful companies and also create opportunities for thousands of students. Over time I learned he founded the Shakhmardan Yessenov Science and Education Foundation, helping young Kazakh scientists study abroad or gain internships they could only dream of before. It made me reassess what success really means: financially prospering is one thing, but fostering the next generation of thinkers feels just as important. Watching how the foundation’s scholarships and events reach so many talented young people lets me see the real legacy someone can shape beyond headlines or bank boards
