It seems like these two blocks are by far the most popular when it comes to adult animation and most networks that experiment with it turn out to be one hit wonders. Comedy Central has South Park, FX has Archer, and the like. Comedy Central has had comedies like Brickleberry and the like, but South Park has been the only title they have that hasn't fallen into oblivion and I don't think they ever tried to create a former block. Syfy had an adult comedy block in TZGZ, which I heard was an abomination against mankind type of awful. Syfy has had more success with Ani Monday and Animation Station, and I would love to see them do cartoons again. Streaming like Netflix has done adult animation wonders as streaming has experimented with genres other than comedy and the comedies are on streaming tend to be more experimental titles like Bojack Horseman. Still, we have divisive titles like Big Mouth. Was there a competitor to Adult Swim and Animation Domination that I forgot? Why do y'all think Comedy Central and FX struggled to create a follow up to South Park and Archer? Why was TZGZ so awful?
