  • I switched from Windows to iPhone, but all my old contacts are stuck in a PST file. I don’t have Outlook installed anymore, and I really don’t want to reinstall everything just to export contacts. I know iPhones accept VCF/vCard files, but I don’t know how to convert a PST into a VCF without Outlook. Is there a safe and effective way?

  • Hey,
Yes, turning PST into VCF is the best option since iPhones are very compatible with vCard files. The simplest way is by using a separate PST to VCF Converter which is helpful when there is no Outlook on the computer. These programs can simply extract contacts from a PST file and then save them in VCF format without changing any details.

    How I did it:

Upload your PST file to the converter (no need for Outlook).

Check and confirm the contacts are readable.

    Choose Convert PST to vCard.

Locate the VCF file where you want to save it and then transfer the file to an iPhone through iCloud, mail or AirDrop.

Open the VCF on iPhone. Select All Contacts to import.

WholeClear PST to VCF Converter is what I used, and it kept all fields like addresses, websites, phone numbers, and notes without any loss of detail. If you are looking for a trustworthy PST to vCard converter, this tool is very convenient for iPhone ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌users.
