  • Missing‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ fields most of the time occur due to the vCard format that requires standard field names while the Excel sheets usually have custom headings. • I’m a bit late here, but I’ve found that renaming Excel columns to simple, standard titles can make a huge difference. Some converters also let you map fields manually, which helps keep everything intact. Has anyone tried tools that handle the mapping more clearly, like the one mentioned in the thread?

  • Renaming the Excel columns to the standard vCard fields has saved me more than once, especially when weird characters sneak into headers. I usually tidy my file first, and https://renamer.io helps me clean up batches of filenames so nothing slips through while preparing imports. After that, tools with clear field mapping tend to keep all the company and address data intact during conversion.
