8.0 batteries in Festool CSC SYS 50

Wondering if the 8.0 Ah battery will work and if it sits flush against the side like the 5.0 Ah battery does.

I'm running the 8's and the run time is pretty decent. From memory I think I roughly get about 90 mins continuous cutting before they hit the 1/3rd level.

The 8.0 does work fine in the CSC SYS 50, but it does stick out a bit more than the 5.0—it won’t sit perfectly flush. Doesn’t affect the use though, just changes the look slightly. Made me think back to when I first swapped an Alkaline Battery https://vonikoshop.com/collections/alkaline-battery for a rechargeable setup in my gear at home—wasn’t as clean a fit either, but the extra run time was worth it.
