I've been working in the packaging and commercial printing sector for almost a decade now, and something's been bugging me lately. With all the advancements in digital print tech, it seems like more and more players are popping up who just borrow
designs or even try to mimic entire printing workflows. I've had two clients come to me with brand assets that were clearly reprinted by someone else—fonts off, colors wrong, but close enough to fool an untrained eye. It's frustrating. Does anyone else feel like IP protection in our industry is taken way too lightly?
