So I’m trying to pull off a pirate outfit for this local fair we have every summer, and I found some awesome medieval-style pants online. Thing is, I’ve never actually measured my leg properly before. Last time I guessed my size for cosplay trousers, they ended up fitting like capris — not a good look for a supposed sea rogue. I read that the “inseam” is the key thing to get right, but I’m not totally sure where it starts and ends. Is it from the waist down? From the knee? I just want to avoid messing it up again, especially since these pants are kind of expensive and I don’t want to deal with returns.
