  • I’m trying to make some decent-looking templates for invoices and other business docs, but they always come out looking kind of amateur. Anyone have advice for making templates that actually look realistic? Or is there a trick to getting them to pass for the real thing? I’d rather not pay a designer every time I need a new form.

  • I’ve been there! My first few attempts always looked a bit off. What helped me was looking at examples from https://custombankstatement.com/. Their templates are spot on — right fonts, spacing, all the details in the right place. I just took one as a base and tweaked it for my needs. Don’t forget things like official logos, the right layout for dates and signatures, and always use professional-looking headers. Makes a huge difference.

  • It’s wild how much people care about how a document looks. Even a simple invoice, if it’s too plain or weirdly formatted, can throw people off. Guess it’s worth investing a little time in the design after all.
