  • Not sure if anyone here works with audio, but I’ve been messing around with adding sound to my interactive comic, and it’s wild how much it changes the vibe. Even a simple ambient loop or some voice acting makes scenes hit different. Does anyone else feel like sound is underrated in adult games/comics? Any tips for making it work without being distracting?

  • Totally agree, sound design is huge but still kind of rare in comics. Games have nailed it, but comics are just starting to catch up. Simple background tracks or subtle effects can make things way more immersive. You can check out https://18comix.org to see how others use sound in their projects. Sometimes less is more—let the audio support the mood, not overwhelm it. I started with royalty-free sounds and it made a big difference right away.

  • Sometimes I forget how much a soundtrack adds to the mood until I play something with no audio and it just feels empty. Cool to see people experimenting, even in comics. I hope it catches on more.
