  • Hey everyone, has anyone had any luck resolving issues with missing packages using AliExpress Standard Shipping? I ordered a couple of small home gadgets over six weeks ago, and the tracking hasn't updated in almost a month—it’s stuck on departed country of origin. I’ve tried contacting the seller, but all I got was a generic please wait response. Just wondering if there's a better way to go about this or if I should just accept it’s lost?

  • I totally get where you're coming from. I’ve been through something similar a few times, and it’s always frustrating—especially when the tracking just stops updating for weeks. Once, a package disappeared for nearly two months, and then randomly showed up in my mailbox with no warning at all. One thing that really helped me was using a third-party tracking tool that shows more detailed updates. Sometimes AliExpress’s own tracker misses info that others pick up.

For example, with USPS deliveries (when the package hits the US), I usually switch to this tool here: https://track.global/en/courier/usps — it’s been surprisingly accurate when the AliExpress tracking goes silent. You can enter your tracking number and it’ll show you status updates even when it’s been handed over to a different courier. Also, if the seller isn't being helpful and it’s past the buyer protection period, don’t wait too long to open a dispute. I once missed the deadline thinking the package would arrive, and AliExpress wouldn’t help after that. Lesson learned. 😅

  • Oh man, same here! I had an order last year that completely vanished after it left China. I kept checking the app every day, hoping for an update, and boom—90 days passed. I wish I had known about the dispute window back then. Now I always track through other platforms too and set a reminder 10 days before protection ends. Better safe than sorry.

  • Man, been there. I once waited like 7 weeks for a package—thought it vanished into space lol. Turned out it was stuck in customs. If you're stressing, check tracking daily and maybe hit up AliExpress support https://google-store.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html . They helped me file a dispute when it got too long. Sometimes stuff just gets held up for no reason.
