  • Trying to set up a US PayPal account, but they’re asking for a US phone number for SMS confirmation. I don’t have access to one, and Google Voice didn’t work. Is there any temporary solution that won’t get flagged?

  • Yup, PayPal can be super strict. I ran into this too and found that Grizzly SMS actually works with PayPal verifications. You pick the US as the country, choose PayPal from the list, and they give you a number you can use right away. It’s not for calling or chatting — strictly for receiving verification codes. But it works flawlessly. Used it myself last week. Here’s the link: https://grizzlysms.com/countries/usa

  • Just got my PayPal confirmed. That was way easier than expected. Thanks!

  • Same situation last month - PayPal wouldn’t accept Google Voice either. I didn’t want to use my real number or pay for a virtual SIM. Found https://sms-verification-number.com/en/ while searching for alternatives. No registration, picked a US number right in the browser. The SMS came through in about 90 seconds. Used it once and walked away. Didn’t have to install anything.

  • Hey folks! My cousin mentioned this solution during a weekend chat when I complained about spam calls ruining my daily routine. I was applying for various online tournaments and wanted to get a temporary phone number to test out a few foreign beta apps without compromising my privacy. It works smoothly across all world locations, which is super convenient. Having fast message reception made the entire signup process completely painless, and I even managed to win a small cash prize.
