What is "turf mattening"?

Just like any carpet type of surfaces, given consistent traffic or pressure, the piles of the artificial grass will flat down which can be referred as “Mattening”. This is the law of physics in work and considered to be normal. However, certain things can be done to minimize the mattening issue: brush or broom up the fibers when you start seeing them to get flattened, it will be the most effective to do this during a warm sunny day as the fibers will be soft to work with.
