  • Hey Sakander!

Great question! All our megagrass products are eco-friendly and manufactured with a focus on sustainability that we take very seriously. Our fake grass is non-toxic, meaning you find any lead or latex, and it’s also hypoallergenic. Using megagrass synthetic turf also eliminates the need for any chemical fertilizers, or mowing and the greenhouse gas emissions that come with it.

We'd love for you to learn more about how we make your environmental safety and our planet a top priority here: https://megagrass.com/pages/sustainability

  • Artificial grass is made of polyethylene and polypropylene along with color pigments, anti-uv agents and other minor ingredients. Essentially artificial grass is plastic product. The way we make the artificial grass is as followings:

    • Mix the PE and PP resins and extrude the yarns
    • Tuft yarns onto PP cloth (primary backing)
    • Put glue on the backing (coating)

Artificial grass is safe for human and animals and provides great benefits to our environment compared to real grass:

    • It eliminates the air pollutions generated by lawn mowers.
    • It eliminates the toxic chemicals such as fertilizers and pesticides to avoid contaminations of our underground water.
    • It save our precious water resources.
