  • Cutting artificial grass is very easy, like cutting carpet or thick fabrics. All you will need is a very sharp carpet knife, the trick is that you will need to cut the turf from the backing side, not the surface given the fact of fibers are sticking out and make it almost impossible to score your knife. When cutting from the back of the artificial grass, you shouldn't worry about cutting into some stitches as you won't be able to totally avoid that. I will suggest you to measure twice and cut twice: first, you would want to a rough initial cut by allowing about 3extra, once done, place and stretch your turf in position to make sure your piece is roughly fit with about 3 overage; then perform your final cuts, at this point, you only have to cut off the overage sections and such cutting should be a much easier operation. Take your time on the final cuts and make sure your knife is always sharp.

  • It seems like it requires a lot of hard work. I may have to call an installer because my cut may not fit in the area.
