  • My artificial grass will be involved in a lot of traffic. Will the blades go down soon?

  • The artificial grass will go flat if too much traffic or usage on it, it is law of physics. Like anything else, when given much of pressure at a consistent pace, things will change their forms given time: consistent dripping water can pin a hole in a rock given time. Artificial grass is made of plastic materials which has a memory built in it, when consistent traffic or usage applies, after a while, the turf will remember to stay down. However, matted artificial grass won't affect the integrity or quality of the product itself. You can try to rake or brush the grass up after intensive use or adding more infills after a long time period of use. Some people's artificial grass areas can be big, and they chose not to do anything about it, and everything is still going to be just fine except for the appearances of turf laying down. It can be a good idea to have your installers come back on a quarterly basis to perform some brushing/raking maintenances on your grass, again, I can only see such tasks needed for applications with extensive traffics or usages consistently. In most of artificial grass applications, you will find it is not necessary to do so: Once installed, under normal usage, the turf will remember to stand up instead of matted down.

  • It makes sense. It seems like calling your installer to brush it quarterly will be helpful and will make your artificial grass lasts longer.

  • What I usually do is use a plastic rake to make the grass blades stand. It works.

  • Everything will come to its end. It's normal if the blades of your artificial grass will flatten. You can contact your installer so they can brush it up for you.
