Does the water get stuck on the artificial grass if it rains?
Normally, the rain water will flow right through artificial grass lawns. However, there might be some water left on and between the grass from time to time, this is very common and shouldn't be considered as a problem. Imagine after a rain fall outdoors, everything will feel the wetness, your vinyl fencing, your smooth windows and doors, walls and etc., some water will stay on things regardless how smooth of the surface, similar with artificial grass. All majority of water will be drained in real time, except for some residues.
I don't think water residues can be a problem too since it will dry out when the sun shines.
Artificial grass indeed does drain better than real grass. As long as the proper type of base is used I guess there will never be a problem.
