Do I need special tools for laying artificial grass?

I want to know the tools I need for laying artificial grass.

When you have professional installers do the installations for you, they would equipped with all necessary tools to lay the artificial grass. However, if you are doing it yourself, the following tools would be recommended by me:

• Sharp carpet cutter and spare blades
• Tape measure
• Shovels, racks and push brooms
• Hand compactor if you can't rent an electric one.
• Hammer
• 1/4" teeth trowel for seaming glues
• Carpet knee stretcher
• Spreader for dropping infills

Seems like it's a lot of tool to use. Better to call an installer since if you're going to buy all of these, it's like equal the amount that you have to pay to the installer.
