What are the various applications of artificial grass?

Aside from sports, where can it be used?

Besides sports fields, there are many more artificial grass applications:

• Residential and commercial lawns and landscapes: people use artificial grass to replace real grass lawn due to the many advantages artificial grass has over real grass lawn.
• For pets: there is no better solutions for Pet applications than artificial grass. Artificial turf is permeable, easy to clean, hygienic and last for a long time.
• Golf putting greens: It is almost impossible to have a real grass putting green for homeowners, the maintenance alone will prevent it. Artificial grass is the only solution to have a putting green in your back yard.
• There are many other smaller and specific applications that requires grass but real grass won't grow well or maintain well. Artificial grass is meant to replace real grass to start with, a lot of indoor and applications will not work with real grass due to the fact of watering and other maintenance concerns, good examples of such applications are patios and pool areas.

Most of the people I know who owns an artificial grass bought it for their pets.
